Too many people with too much will.
Which would be fine if there
were some rules in place.
Some codes of conduct which were
actually understood and obeyed.

Once, we as a culture had manners.
Certain functions of etiquette which helped guide
the lazy and inconsiderate toward civility,
despite their tendency and predisposition
for quite the opposite.

I know now why certain elements of this world
--with whom I normally disagree on
unrelated topics such as religion and
the individual's control of one's self--
mourn the loss of proper behavior.

Crank advocates removing freewill from the
average person's consideration of personal function.
Just as a dog needn't be
given the ability to make decisions
regarding its feeding time, breeding schedule
and choice of footwear, so should
the basic person be stripped of
certain wasted liberties which,
when otherwise left unchecked, disrupt
and interrupt the higher purposes
of the rest of us.

And no, I'm not kidding.
So
get your shit together.
Because if I ever rule the world,
and you're still acting like this,
you'll be the first one up against the wall.
